AI Strategy · palito

AI is already in use across your organisation. Let's make sure you have the right picture before you go further.

The Discovery is a structured 1 to 2 week engagement for leadership teams managing AI adoption. It maps what is in use, identifies which use cases are worth pursuing, and produces a clear roadmap with governance built in.

Why it exists

The problem most organisations don't see clearly.

Most organisations adopting AI face the same problem. Tools are in use, spend is accumulating, and there is no clear picture of which use cases are worth pursuing, in what order, or whether the risks are under control.

The pressure to show ROI is real. So is the pressure from your board, your regulators, and your competitors. But without a structured view of what is actually happening and what is worth doing, more spend just means more exposure.

The Discovery exists to provide that structure.

The engagement

A working engagement, not a presentation.

Over 1 to 2 weeks, we work across your organisation to understand what AI tools are in use, how they are being used, what is working, and what is creating risk.

We do not start with a tool or a framework. We start with your business.

Which use cases are genuinely worth pursuing? What is creating risk without delivering value? What is the right first move, and what should you leave alone for now?

By the end of the engagement, there is a shared understanding across your leadership team. The written report makes it permanent.

The process

Three stages. Carefully prepared.

Before the engagement

We send a short questionnaire ahead of time. Completed in under 20 minutes. Once the Discovery is confirmed, we schedule a 90-minute briefing session. We map the key stakeholders, agree on access and scope, identify any sensitive areas, and make sure we are walking in with the right questions.

You get a prepared consultant, not a cold start.

The discovery work

One to two weeks of structured work across your organisation. Working sessions with the people closest to AI use in your business. We map what is in use, assess each use case by value and risk, and identify the gaps between what is happening and what is governed.

The written report

Six to ten pages. Considered, not exhaustive. Written for your leadership team, not for consultants. It covers what we found, what it means, and what to do next, in that order.

It includes a "what to leave alone" section. Specific use cases, tools, or initiatives to pause and the reason why. That section alone is usually worth the investment.

The deliverable

What you take away.

A clear map of AI use.

What is in use across your organisation, how, what is working, and what is creating risk.

A prioritised use-case roadmap.

Which use cases are worth pursuing, in what order, with a named owner and definition of done for each.

A governance gap analysis.

Where adoption has outpaced oversight, and what needs to be in place before you go further.

What to leave alone.

Specific use cases, tools, or initiatives to pause. And the reason why. This is the section your team will refer back to.

Right fit

For organisations already adopting AI.

The Discovery works best for organisations that have already committed to AI. Licences purchased, tools in use across teams, but no clear structure around which use cases to pursue, in what order, or how to do it responsibly.

It is particularly useful if adoption is happening faster than your oversight of it. Or if you have invested in AI tools and are not yet seeing the value you expected.

A 1 to 2 week investment that can redirect months of effort.
